JOB DESCRIPTION BASIC INFORMATION Position Title English Arabic Business development officer موظف تطويرالعمل Job Code TBD Grade Business Entity Division Marketplace Department Pets Creative Team Section Front Office Reporting To Team Leader No. of Direct Reports TBD JOB PURPOSE A business development officer should identify business growth opportunities and develop strategies to increase company sales. The business development officer’s purpose include identifying company products and services that are underperforming, developing an in-depth knowledge of company offerings, pricing, and policies, and improving existing sales proposals. You should also ensure that the company is able to achieve revenue targets. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Key responsibilities Core responsibilities Business development officer: Developing and sustaining solid relationships with company, vendors and customers. Self-management responsibilities Identifies the training and development requirements for self and agrees on them with the Team Leader to ensure that the required trainings are arranged and attended Performs other responsibilities and tasks as directed by the Team Leader in order to contribute to the overall departmental growth. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES Qualifications § Bachelor’s degree in business management or administration, finance, accounting, marketing, or related field. Professional Certifications Preferred § N.A. Years of Experience § A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience Nature of Experience § Prior experience in sales and marketing organizations is preferred. Job Specific Skills Proficient with the use of Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook) § Exceptional negotiation and decision-making skills. § Strong business acumen. Business Language Skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Arabic and English.
