Customer Capability Manager Facilities Management

Your Main Responsibilities
• Responsible for the strategy, planning and delivery of IM&T;Facility Management (FM) programmes.
• Working with the IM&T;teams across BAE Systems in KSA (including Kingdom Partner Companies (KPCs)) to manage the relationships with Directorate of Communications and Information Technology (DCIT), Communications & Information Technology Wing (CITW), Programme Office Officers and Advisors and the senior stakeholders for BAE Systems Programme.
• Responsible for conducting and documenting safety and risk assessments prior to any FM work being initiated.
• Acting as an advisor for the business on customer priorities.
• Influencing and managing internal and external stakeholders.
• Working with and managing our preferred supplier s (International Systems Engineering (ISE)) performance to ensure our FM customers requirements are met with value for money solutions.
• Representing Information Management issues, on behalf of the FM programmes (including Salam and SBDCP).
• Engaging and working with the wider IM&T;function to bring the full range of expertise to the programme.
• Managing the IM&T;FM budget on behalf of the Programmes and reporting to the Programmes Contract Status Reviews.
• Accountable for deliverables in line with the programmes milestone payment plans, ensuring agreed evidence is provided and acceptance signed to enable payment.
• Managing the monthly service reviews ensuring Service Level Agreements are maintained.
• Responsible for managing and reporting the enabling business requirements (e.g. Sandlnk) in support of the IM&T;Integrated Business Plan (IBP).
• Responsible for leading the definition of future requirements and work packages with the RSAF for new work e.g. Salam, SBDCP, Al Majma ah, PSAB etc.
• Responsible for defining project inputs in support of the IM&T;IBP.
• Assurance and acceptance of contracted deliverables from our preferred IT supplier, prior to presentation for acceptance to the RSAF, ensuring consistency with internal BAE Systems Policies and standards where appropriate.
• Responsible for ensuring that our preferred IT Supplier(s) delivers in line with Customer requirements and in alignment with contracted standards and policies.
• Providing ownership of the development and delivery of the IM&T;commitments whilst ensuring the plan is aligned with our key supplier s IBP).
• Initiating procedures to improve relations and open communications with and between stakeholders.
• Overseeing key activities and processes including lessons learned and feedback to and from business change teams and our preferred IT supplier.
• Establishing metrics and measures based on the overall business objectives and reporting performance status (for both project and services).
• Overseeing the use of IM&T;in FM projects across KSA.
• Informing the Customers strategy from an IM&T;perspective - ensuring that all technical systems necessary to support its current operations and future business vision are in place.
• Managing the throughput of FM requirements through to BAESSA and then ISE (Kingdom Partner Company) and assurance of delivery against customer requirements and BAE Systems standards where appropriate.
• Maintaining and communicating the organisation’s strategy for managing information, and the policies, standards, procedures and methods necessary to implement the strategy.
• Ensure adherence to statutory, internal, or external regulations, standards, and codes of good practice, e.g. those relating to security, quality, data protection, audit etc.
• Maintaining an awareness of the global needs of the whole enterprise, and promoting the vision of the benefits that a common approach to Information Management will bring to the business as a whole amongst senior executives.
• Establishing and promoting the overall vision for how IM&T;can support the FM programmes.
• Responsible for building effective relationships between stakeholders, including responsibility for the relationship between IT functions and end users.
• Supporting the business through succession planning and knowledge/skills transfer.
• Supporting functional activities to develop in kingdom IM&T;capabilities for the future including promoting competency framework, development plans and inputs in strategic work force plans.
Your Skills & Qualifications
• Extensive aerospace and defence company/industry knowledge, managing significant and diverse IS/IT engineering projects, with an understanding of all parts of the business lifecycle from business winning and bid work through to in-service support and disposal.
• A minimum of five years experience in a Military Engineering/Support environment ideally within either the RSAF DCIT or RSNF.
• Understanding of the RSAF DCIT Operation and working practices.
• Ideally experience of working in the RSAF/RSNF EA and/or Support Organisations.
• Understanding of Military Logistic Support ideally in a KSA environment.
• Understanding of the IBP and financial processes, management processes, HR processes, BAES and MoD commercial processes.
• Proven business acumen for objective decision-making regarding resources, risk management, and engineering forward strategy
• Understanding of LCM/ELC, Project Management, Engineering Management, Systems Engineering, Safety Management, Export Controls/ITARS managing sub-contractors, procurement, supplier selection and approval.
• Experience of the Prime Contracting Role ideally in a KSA environment.
• Proven ability for objective decision making regards resources, risk management and engineering and assurance forward strategy
• Comprehensive knowledge of the IT Industry, ideally within a complex engineering or construction environment understanding how IT contributes to the objectives of the KSA organisation.
• Experience of working and managing relationships with Senior Military Customers.
• Comprehensive understanding of how KSA integrates within the Air function to contribute to the Air Goals.
• Broad understanding of the commercial IM&T;environment, how the organisation sources, deploys and manages external partners and when it is appropriate to use in-house resources.
• Developing and managing contracts with suppliers to meet key performance indicators and agreed targets.
• Ensuring that supplier performance is properly monitored and regularly reviewed.
• Advising on policy and procedures covering the selection of suppliers, tendering and procurement.
