Location:
Riyadh.
Your main responsibilities:
• Support and assist the Head of Safety Services in documenting, maintaining and deploying a BAESSA Product Safety Management System reflecting the BAE Systems Corporate Product Safety Policies.
• Assist the Head of Safety Services in provision the Governance and Assurance for the Product Safety, Continuing Airworthiness Safety and Flying Safety Activities undertaken by BAESSA Air Sector projects.
• Support and assist the Head of Safety Services in managing and/or coordinating independent safety assurance audit activities to ensure that safety management processes are being implemented in an effective manner within all BAE SA projects.
• Responsibility for the provision of advice and guidance on the implementation of the BAESSA Product Safety Management System to BAESSA Air/Land & Naval Sector projects.
• Assist and support (including the responsibility for representing as required), the Head of Product Safety & Environmental Compliance in establishing, developing, documenting, maintaining and deploying the Product Safety Management System to the Air, Land and Naval projects within the Support, Servicing and Disposal Phases of the Lifecycle Management Framework.
• Responsibility for supporting the management of the interfaces between other functions and/or capabilities and the Safety organization.
• Maintain working relationships with project teams and functions.
• When required Support Economic Offset Companies in developing their Product Safety Management in support of their responsibilities to the RSAF/RSNF/MNG.
• As appropriate provide SME in support of RSAF/RSNF/MNG Project meetings.
• Supporting the development and implementation of the RSAF s Safety Management Systems on behalf of the Product Safety & Accident Investigation Manager.
• Provide support in development of Safety Management within the RSAF/RSNF in line with BAE Systems policy and best practice.
• Support and assist the RSAF/RSNF in establishing and implementing systems, processes and procedures that monitor the efficiency of their Safety Management System. Investigate safety related issues and develop recommendations for implementation.
• Responsibility for the undertaking of Product Safety & Environmental Lifecycle Control Management Reviews.
• Responsibility for undertaking PS&E;audits across the BAESSA business domain.
Your Skills and Qualifications:
• Minimum of 5 years experience within Aircraft maintenance, operations and Safety programmed maintenance with proven senior supervisory responsibilities.
• Knowledge of Aircraft maintenance and operations at a senior management role including reliability management and data analysis.
• Exposure to and of Safety regulations and processes.
• Knowledge of civil (EASA) and military Continuing Airworthiness requirements and regulations, Part M and 145.
• Project management experience.
• Understanding of Aircraft maintenance and materials management
• Understanding of Design and Production organization requirements and regulations
• High levels of interpersonal skill with the ability to co-ordinate a large number of diverse activities and the ability to communicate, influence and direct the decision making process at all levels.
