Role Purpose:
Ensure that P.O are being created on timely manner to support other departments purchase cycles
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES & ACTIVITIES:
Purchasing Service:
Creates PO s as per end user department request and as per RICC Purchasing Policy
Creates PO’s as per approved Purchase Agreements.
Ensures approval of Poi’s as per the DoA.
Submit purchase orders to selected vendors.
Maintains open PO’s and follows-up with the vendor and other parties to get status of execution/delivery.
Follows-up on the status of purchase orders with suppliers to ensure timely delivery; and communicate status of orders to user departments
Receive, review, and maintain all suppliers and contractors’ invoices and forward to finance department for payment processing
Provide order information to the warehouse to allocate the space and be ready to receive for the incoming items.
Any other departmental tasks that may be assigned based on business needs and as assigned by the Manager.
Reporting and Filing:
Maintain all the records/documents related to purchasing information, purchase orders, bids, agreements and all the relevant information related to purchasing and contracting
Enter data into databases or other computerized systems to maintain up-to-date supplier and vendor information to track purchase and status of orders and deliveries

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:
Knowledge and Experience:
3 to 5 years of experience in a similar role
Purchasing experience in the construction industry / hotel industry is preferred
Education and Certifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field
