Safeguards information system assets by identifying and solving potential and actual security problems.
Protects system by defining access privileges, control structures, and resources.
Recognizes problems by identifying abnormalities; reporting violations.
Implements security improvements by assessing current situation; evaluating trends; anticipating requirements.
Determines security violations and inefficiencies by conducting periodic audits.
Upgrades system by implementing and maintaining security controls.
Keeps users informed by preparing performance reports; communicating system status.
Maintains quality service by following organization standards.
Maintains technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing publications.
Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Key skills for Cyber Security Officer

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Systems, and/or equivalent experience in a related field is preferred.
1-2 years of experience related to cyber security operations, cyber incident response, or related IA/Security experience along with experience working in Information Technology
Experience in computer evidence seizure, computer forensic analysis, and data recovery, and/or Computer network forensics.
Applicants must be able to work in a team environment.
Ability to handle stress and work well under pressure.
Ability to use PC, MS Office, Analytical, and Critical Thinking Skills.
Interpersonal and People Skills with Multi-Tasking.
Strong IT skills and knowledge including hardware, software, and networks
Meticulous attention to detail
Ability to use logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of IT systems
A forensic approach to challenges
A deep understanding of how hackers work and the ability to keep up with the fast pace of change in the criminal cyber-underworld
Ability to seek out vulnerabilities in IT infrastructures

Salary Range SAR 8K - 10K
