The Opportunity
As Senior Talent Management Coordinator, you will be engaging actively and personally with our local Consultants in IMEA, as well as getting to know and understand their current skills and strengths, their professional development objectives, personal preferences when it comes to what external client projects they would like to work on, as well as their career objectives and goals.
Your will frequently interact with Partners across various practice groups, the Practice Group Staffers, and the other Talent Managers across the MEA region to understand and address external client project staffing needs and balance them with consultant preferences and career goals.
The Role:
Consultant Performance Management
•
Actively engaging in the annual career review process, working closely with other members of the Talent Management Team and Partners you ll read all project reviews as completed, and participate in review processes
•
Proactively seeking informal feedback from our Partners, Principals and Engagement Managers as the external client projects are ending to ensure any issues and development objectives are taken into account for the next staffing assignment that the Consultants will be staffed onto; you ll seek this informal feedback every 2-3 months on longer client projects
•
Providing career advice to consultants in MEA and being keenly aware of consultants preferences and performance based on frequent personal interactions. Working closely with the local CCG Partner and the Regional Talent Management Lead to ensure that Consultants understand their development needs, as well as coaching Consultants on how best to meet firm expectations
•
Ensuring Consultant skills and experiences are updated on our talent management system, based on their project reviews
•
Advising on, and locally managing, Oliver Wyman Talent Management programs and business school sponsorship
Staffing of external client Projects
•
Collecting all relevant details from Partners and/or Practice Group Staffers on external client projects that need to be staffed and disseminate this information to the CCG Talent Management Team
•
Coordinating and interacting daily with the CCG TM team to collaboratively and creatively develop team options with CCG across EMEA if required (not just from each individual TM s staffing pool) to provide best fit solutions. Providing Partner and/or Practice Group Staffer with appropriate team options
•
Confirming teams based on Partner and CCG preferences, where possible
•
Managing all staff for Business Development, IC and other beach work after billable/strategic investment roles are filled
•
Managing consultants vacation approvals and project extensions
Tracking and managing Consultant training and development in MEA
•
Proactively engaging Consultants on up to date preferences and discuss options when available / appropriate
•
Tracking how Consultants are progressing against development objectives and line up intervention when appropriate, keeping the regional TM lead and CCG Partner up to date on concerns and issues
•
Tracking all CCG in MEA for career progression for skills development, length of time on project, suggested training schedule, etc.
•
Primary responsibility for consultant data integrity - keep track of consultant database including availability, project experiences, areas of expertise, areas of interests, competency and skills development, overall career progression etc.
Tracking the morale of our MEA office
•
Responsible for monitoring local office morale and coordinating local CCG events
•
Acting as primary informal communication conduit for issues that may arise in the CCG
•
Coordinating and raising work life balance challenges discussing with the Consultant and recommending an action plan
About you…
•
You will have at 2-3 years of relevant professional experience we are looking for someone with Talent Management or HR experience
•
Your work experience will be from a fast-paced and dynamic client services business environment ideally, you will have undertaken a Talent Management or Human Resources role within another global professional services, management consultancy or financial services firm
•
You ll have experience in balancing ever-changing work demands in a challenging environment with numerous stakeholders to satisfy and have the proven ability to foster relationships at all levels of the organization
•
We require fluency in English (written and verbal)
•
You will be educated to at least Bachelor s degree level
Desired Technical skills:
•
Strong Word, Excel and Outlook skills.
•
Experience working with a resource management system highly desirable
•
Proficient with data analysis and reporting
