Agricultural Engineer (Spanish company)

الوصف الوظيفي
 Aid engineering staff to design structures, equipment, and processes in the agricultural industry.

 Visit sites to identify problems, to consult with contractors, and/or to monitor operation activities.

 Assist in preparing proposals, technical reports or economic studies

 Take direction from and work under the mentorship of senior level engineering staff

 Participate in the design and installation of recycled water irrigation networks, and their control and automation

 Test agricultural machinery and equipment to ensure adequate performance

 Plan and execute on multiple projects simultaneously

 Test the Irrigation Systems during field operations and provide support to the client

 Develop ways to reduce water consumption or cost savings

 Perform extensive research and development technical studies

 Control the efficiency of processes

 Supervise with water engineers, designs and calculations for irrigation and recycled water systems.

 Use computer engineering programs.

 Discuss plans with the team, clients, contractors, consultants, for decision making progress purposes, so necessary changes will be made.

 Prepare reports, sketches, working drawings, specifications, proposals, and budgets for proposed sites or systems.

 Work and control sensoring, measuring, and recording equipment, and other instrumentation used to monitor the performance of the activities

المهارات
 Bachelor’s degree in agricultural engineering (or Civil with specialisation in Irrigation)

 Fluent in English (write and read)

 Proficient in MS Office (i.e. Word, Excel and Power Point)

 Comprehensive knowledge of water networks design and operation

 Understanding of irrigation / recycled water networks including design, operation and maintenance of flow meters, control valves and pumps

 Aptitude and willingness to learn and contribute on all levels of engineering projects

 Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal skills.

 Knowledge in Graphics Design

 Strong analytical ability, a methodical approach to problem solving

 Motivation to learn and work in a fast-paced and diverse environments such as outdoor agricultural field conditions including high heat & humidity

 Independent, focused and self goal-oriented

 Willingness to cross-train for other duties within the organization as needed
