Accountabilities:
• Planning and design of annual HR initiatives to support the Companies strategic objectives.
• Deliver all 4 quadrants of HR -Serve as an employee advocate, functional expert, change agent and business partner.
• Represent HR function on the other functions leadership team engaging on strategic direction for facility and management of strategic direction, profitability, and performance goals.
• Lead and support Organization Health Survey and diversity & Inclusion in Operations
• Manage other functions communication plan ensuring optimal engagement and two-way communication
• Coordinating the implementation of performance management initiatives as well as organization Development programs as appropriate.
• Develop and maintain positive employee relations to create strong employee engagement
• Identification, coordination, and assistance with the execution of the corporate training strategy at all levels.
• Plans and conducts new employee orientation to foster a positive attitude toward company goals.
• Ensuring sound industrial relations are built and maintained by facilitating the resolution of disputes, negotiating with the employees at the plant level, chairing employees meetings, ensuring substantive and procedural fairness in disciplinary matters, representing the Company at the different Govt. forums and ensuring adherence to agreements and procedures, and liaising with the CompanyAttorneys as deemed appropriate.
• Developing recruitment specifications and recommendations through the efficient sourcing of high caliber candidates and co-ordination of theCompany assessment center
• Authorization and motivation of contracts, loan applications, further study assistance, and payroll allowances.
• Project management of HR programs, key initiatives, and other exercises occurring on an ad-hoc basis.
• Facilitate the communication at all levels thus furthering the strategy of owning the hearts and minds .
• To implement, sustain and participate in the continual improvement of the OH&S;management system (MS) at the area of responsibility in accordance with the legislation.

Qualifications/Requirements
• A Bachelors/Masters degree in Human ResourceManagement is essential
• Further HR professional training would be a distinct advantage
• A demonstrated ability to apply the relevant labor legislation and the management of labor relations critical
• Experience in delivering appropriate intervention given the identification of potential operational people issues.
• Ideally an assertive individual with strong interpersonal and persuasive skills, attention to detail, and intellectual curiosity
• Computer literacy
