Essential Functions • System administration, monitoring, upgrading, maintenance, installation, setup, configuration, testing and deployment of systems within Windows, Linux, ESX and Virtual environments. • Ensure security hardening of systems and critical patches are being applied as necessary. • Maintain security, Antivirus and business continuity strategies. • ENSURING THE HIGHEST LEVELS OF APPLICATIONS AND INFRASTRUCTURE AVAILABILITY • Design and Manage backup/Restore operation. • Provide solution infrastructure design. • MAINTAINING AND CONFIGURING BACKUP POLICIES AND REDUNDANCY STRATEGIES • Manage solution Disaster Recovery operations • Manage monitoring systems. • Implementation and integration of solutions involving Virtualization, Cloud technology, and workload orchestration into client (Data Center) • Manage relation and Work closely with Clients and 3rd parties on infrastructure related planning and operation • Generate and create reports/Documents for clients • Design and Manage Disaster recovery operations • Manage Relationship with client Infrastructure teams. Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or engineering • 5+ years of experience in IT infrastructure deployment, possessing expert knowledge in SAN, Cloud computing technology, server operating systems. • knowledge in databases such as Oracle, MySQL, MongoDB. • Good networking knowledge. • Solid experience in Disaster recovery planning and operations. • Excellent communication skills & Passionate about technology and internet. • Solid experience in Load balancing and Clustering (Windows, Linux) • EXCELLENT WRITTEN & VERBAL COMMUNICATION SKILLS IQVIA is a leading global provider of advanced analytics, technology solutions and clinical research services to the life sciences industry.
