Objectives
Our client is one of the biggest and well-known fitness centers based in Saudi Arabia. The company is looking for a Sales Director to Leading and directing Sales function including developing and implementing departments strategies and plans, setting the related sales, corporate sales KPIs and monitoring their achievement across the company, while ensuring competitive products and services pricing. Monitoring and analyzing Sales activities against goals and objectives. In addition to spearheading initiatives aiming to increase the market share, market mix, upgrade services and increase customer satisfaction.
Job responsibilities:
Strategic Duties
Participating in the development of the strategies, objectives and policies.
Developing the Department’s work plan and assigning related activities to serve the achievement of the Department’s objectives.
Setting the objectives and KPI’s of the Department.
Supervising the implementation of the Department’s plans, monitoring workflow, and ensuring adherence to policies and procedures.
Ensuring that work activities are carried out according to the pre-set performance goals and suggesting any necessary actions to the direct supervisor.
Setting the estimated budgets for the Department and participating in the determination of its budget requirements and expected expenses, in addition to following up on the Department’s expenditures in coordination with the Finance Division.
Technical and Executive Duties
Developing Sales strategies and execution plans that aim to enhance the performances in any of the sections being monitored to help Company’s achieve its growth and expansion goals and objectives.
Managing the process of setting, tracking, and monitoring monthly, quarterly and annual sales Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and monthly dashboards for sales functions in cooperation with the related functions.
Reviewing sales forecast reports from the Corporate Sales section, studying the prevailing market conditions and analyzing past sales performances to develop corporate sales targets, as well as annual unit and gross-profit plans.
Overseeing Company’s sales activities and assessing their effectiveness of marketing activities in terms of customer reach, sales leads, market share, etc.
Overseeing and monitoring the process of conducting market studies and preparing reports to fulfill the needs of Sales department and other departments such as Operations, BD & Partnerships, among others, which include market share, consumer behaviors, revenue forecasting, service/ product positioning and pricing, trends, new services/ products developed by other companies in the fitness industry, among others.
Setting and maintaining a pricing strategy for Company’s services and products, ensuring competitive and profitable prices, in addition to launching promotions and offers for Company’s membership programs in cooperation with the related functions.
Sustaining relations with key corporate accounts by making periodic visits, ensuring meeting their needs, and discussing new business opportunities.
Developing and updating Company’s Sales policies and procedures, while taking into consideration latest trends and practices adopted in this regard.
Performing any other duties related to the job as assigned by the direct supervisor.
Administrative Duties
Conducting periodic meetings with subordinates to ensure that priorities are clear and workflow is running smoothly.
Preparing periodic reports with respect to the Department’s activities and achievements.
Ensuring that instructions, circulars and organizational and operational decisions are followed and applied.
Ensuring manpower requirements are met according to specified manpower plans.
Appraising direct reports’ performance according to scheduled plans and recommending necessary actions as per the applied practices.
Recommending training needs of subordinates and evaluating the outcomes of training courses in coordination with the concerned Department.
Following up on employees’ administrative affairs such as vacations, leaves, etc.
Nominating a deputy to carry out the responsibilities of the position whenever the need arises.

Bachelor’s degree in Sales / BA or any related field
Minimum 11 years in a related field, of which at least 5 in a managerial position
