Semantic Layer Architect

Saudi Arabia (remote working)

We are looking for a Semantic Layer Developer / Architect to support a project with our partner a US Software Company that helps to create cloud database and analytics related software. The end customer, in Saudi Arabia (remote working), is a top tier financial institution who are working with our partner to improve database and cloud capability.

Roles & Responsibilities –

· Understanding business requirements of the bank

· Understanding Source systems Data

· Understanding Integration/Core layer data

· Creating high level Common semantic layer Architecture based on customer expectations. Review it with SMEs from client side and baseline the high-level model.

· Creating the detailed semantic layer Model (Different Dimensions and Facts). Review it with customer every week and get an approval on work done.

· Owning the end-to-end semantic modelling work

· Providing inputs to semantic layer data mappers

· Co-ordinate with FSDM modelers, SMEs from client side, technical lead, project managers

· Providing weekly status to the team

· Listing down the weekly tasks and obstacles if any

Semantic Layer Architect

Saudi Arabia (remote working)

Primary Requirement –

· Dimensional Modelling expert (min 4-6 years expn)

· 10+ years of experience into SLDC (Majorly data warehousing)

· In depth knowledge of semantic Layer and Integration layer

· Min 2-3 years of Teradata database experience

· Banking Domain knowledge

· Business Understanding

Secondary –

· Teradata industry data model (FSDM preferred)

· Informatica ETL
