Troubleshooting:
Perform diagnostic on DCS Delta_V software & hardware applications, PLC and HMI control system connectivity.
Analyse and troubleshoot DCS Delta_V applications, controllers, PLC and HMI program issues.
Development/integrate program to improve DCS controller, PLC, and HMI, as per company O&M;or BU required.
Perform backup and restore program of DCS controller, PLC and HMI configuration and program.
Proficient in reading and interpreting loop and P&ID;drawing.
Understand and interpret electrical diagram.
Familiar with Modbus (TCP & RTU), Profibus and HART, Fieldbus communication protocol.
Familiar with Ethernet, Fiber Optic and RS232/485 communication media.
Familiar with water treatment plant, process and operations.
Technical Assistance:
Work under the supervision of DCS/SCADA Automation Supervisor.
Able to create and improve work systematic DCS controller, PLC and HMI work related procedure and standard.
Provide support on (O&M;) operation and maintenance on any DCS, PLC and HMI related issues.
Provide support on (TSD) technical service department on any DCS, PLC and HMI related issues, e.g. TSR and SOW review.
Provide support on CPO automation and instrument engineer.
Involvements on DCS, PLC and HMI Hardware and software projects for FAT, SAT and RFI’s.
Involvement on safety program and improvement.
JOB CONTEXT:
Job holder reports to Supervisor. The job holder is responsible for the maintenance of the DCS/SCADA system. This job does require fieldwork most of the day.

Detailed knowledge of Emerson DCS Delta_V all versions, Siemens, Allen Bradley and Schneider PLC control systems.
Detailed understanding of DCS Delta_V all versions, PLC and HMI intelligent devices backup (Upload & Download) procedures.
Detailed knowledge of system access policy and protocols.
