Assists senior staff in analysis and design of structures.
Assists in the preparation of design documentation.
Assist in coordination of structural design information with requirements of other disciplines
Specific Activities:
Assist in the selection of viable alternative structural concepts.
Assist in preparation of design criteria reports.
Prepare structural analysis models.
Design structural elements.
Ensure that design requirements are properly indicated on drawings.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
Experience:
Requires a minimum of (3-5) years of engineering experience.
Specialized Knowledge:
Knowledge of the principles of structural analysis and design.
Knowledge of structural design codes.
Knowledge of structural analysis, design and spreadsheet applications.
Skills:
Ability to work in a team environment, high energy, fast-paced, detailed-oriented, professional approach with a positive attitude.
Understanding of structural design and construction.
Must be able and willing to learn new tasks and working methods.
Must have strong organizational and oral/written communication skills.
