The Oracle Developer/Analyst will be joining a team of seasoned professionals that inspire learning and growth, in an enjoyable and flexible work environment.
Responsibilities:
Analyze, design and develop new business applications and enhancements to existing business applications to support the business operations in various functional areas such as Finance, Order Management, and Supply chain.
Design and development of customized Oracle systems for Unix and the web
Perform impact analysis and collaborate with other team members within IT and the business before the changes are made
Develop efficient and effective test plans and protocols for all software development solutions
Stay current in existing development trends as well as new and emerging IT technologies as potential solutions to business needs
Conduct analysis of system specifications and utilizes state of the art analysis/diagramming tools to represent business/technical processes
Develop conversion and system implementation plans
Prepare and obtain approval of system and programming documentation
Recommend changes in development, maintenance and system standards
Requirements:
Bachelor Degree in Computer Science or related field of study
1+ years increasingly responsible professional experience in Oracle development tools and database structure
Must have strong experience translating business requirements and design into technical solutions
Strong trouble shooting and analytical skills
Technical requirements: Oracle 10g, Developer10g(Forms, Reports), SQL, PL/SQL, Unix Script, Java, XML, Oracle Discover
Knowledge of Oracle R12 a plus
Knowledge of Oracle SOA / BPM suite a plus
Knowledge of JDeveloper a plus
Knowledge of OA Frame work a plus
Strong knowledge of Finance (AR, AP, GL) a plus
