Job Description “Store Manager “
2. Handle the monthly attendance for the staff . Responsible for full operation of the store including opening, closing, staffing, service levels, cash and inventory. Expectations are that 90% of business hours are spent on the sales area greeting customers, coaching employees and running the business where it matters most—close to the customer.
3. Establish and exceed organizational performance and individual performance goals.
4. Complete duties and provide leadership designed to deliver high levels of service to customers within the framework of established company policies.
5. Recruit sales staff on an ongoing basis. Screen and hire outstanding talent for the organization.
6. Create a positive work environment, which is as important as creating a positive customer experience. Motivate, lead and train a winning sales team. Get to know team members – their strengths and weaknesses, aspirations and goals, background and experience – and uses that knowledge to help them succeed.
7. Role-play with team to help them sharpen their skills or learn to deal with challenging situations. Provide informal coaching and support during the course of any given day.
8. Assist and support store associates in all aspects of sales and customer service as required.
9. Coordinate sales and local marketing events on a regular basis.
10. Participate in community events and public relations activities to develop a positive image for the company in the local community.
11. Attend all required training programs.
12. Assist in other tasks, duties, or projects as assigned by management.
13. Responsible for stock levels and making key decisions about stock control
14. Identifies current and future customer requirements by establishing rapport with potential and actual customers
15. Formulates pricing policies by reviewing merchandising activities; determining additional needed sales promotion; authorizing clearance sales; studying trends
16. Protects employees and customers by providing a safe and clean store environment.
17. handle cash, cash up and reconcile till and credit card machines at the end of the day
18. Responsible for inventory stock and requisition new stock.
19. Examine merchandise to ensure that it is correctly priced and displayed and that it functions as advertised
20. Ensure issuing invoice with any sales transaction.
21. Make Monthly Promotion and special offer and sale.
22. Deal with finance department (Closing the operation day to day).
23. Make reports (Slow and fast moving items) and monthly supplier sales amount.
24. Make sure that all staff is wearing uniform with high grooming
