Position: Researcher
While a researcher is expected to contribute in many ways to the research projects, typical responsibilities include the following:
• Assist in developing research questionnaire
• Prepare the entry and verification and consistency programmes and rules
• Prepare statistical tables
• Perform advanced statistical analysis ( modeling, regression, multivariate analysis, different test)
• Assist in interrupting produced tables and preparing reports
• Assist the research team in determining study sample size and characteristic for prospect research studies/proposals
• Assist the research team in developing designing and study concept notes and proposals
• Assist in analyzing received reports from harassMap online reporting systems
• Respond to unit emails and attend relevant meetings
• Supervise undergraduate students working on the research project
• Other duties and responsibilities may be assigned.

Required Skills and Experience
Education:
• Relevant degree in statistics or Economics with strong data analysis training;
Experience:

• At least 3-5 years of operational and empirical research experience preferably on development issues
• Expertise in mainly quantitative data analysis methods
• Demonstrated experience in advanced statistical analysis
• Experience in the usage of computers and office software packages, experience in handling of web based management systems; proficiency in using statistical analysis software, such as SPSS, STATA, Excel);
• Good analytical and writing skills and sound theoretical understanding of SGBV related issues. 
Language Requirements:
Fluency in Arabic and good command of English Language is required.
