The company for which this job applies to is a joint venture of Suwaidi Engineering Group and a Malaysian conglomerate. The company is a leader in the water handling industry offering a diverse service portfolio in Fluid Management Equipment, Specialized Engineering Services, and Solutions, Oil & Gas Equipment and Services, Reverse Osmosis Systems, Pumping Stations and Treatments Plants and Gen. Sets and Diesel Engines.
Job Overview:
The Sales Manager is responsible for representing the entire range of the company’s products and services to assigned customer accounts while leading the customer account planning cycle and ensuring assigned customers’ needs and expectations are met. The Sales Manager shall be familiar with developing and executing aggressive growth strategies and comprehensive sales plans to further penetrate the company’s core client demographic. The Sales Manager shall direct all daily, monthly and quarterly activities for the assigned geographic region and accounts. Activities will include project identification, new business development, proposal development and quotations, pricing strategies, contract development and management, sales management, customer relations, service orders and maintaining the opportunity funnel. The Sales Manager will be responsible for delivering an Annual Sales Estimate to Management.
Responsibilities, Duties, and Expectations:
The ideal candidate should familiar with potential clients in the geographic area of the United Arab Emirates and is familiar with the water handling industry. The candidate shall also be an expert in engineering and fabrication of mechanical and electrical systems and shall be expected to:
• Manage and direct all associated sales activities on a day-to-day basis
• Project identification, new business development, proposal development and quotations, pricing strategies, contract development and management, sales management, customer relations, and maintaining the opportunity funnel.
• Show leadership to develop strong sales processes to identify opportunities and convert to orders.
• Work collaboratively with customer service, technical support, and other departments to ensure we meet the needs of the customer.
• Participate in the creation of the annual orders and sales plan and provides monthly forecasts.
• Produce strategic and tactical account plans to meet annual targets and improve market penetration.
• Guide customer equipment selection based on specifications and product offering.
• Provide input to marketing, product management, and engineering to create leading-edge products and services that are positioned to leverage Al Sagar Engineering strengths.
• Maintains an understanding of commercial markets, its customer needs, and the competitor landscape.
• Build long-term relationships with customers and strengthen Al Sagar Engineering’s image with industry luminaries.
• Attend trade shows and industry events as required to represent our products in the marketplace.
• Share best practices and help formulate strategies for identifying, developing, and managing new business channels by leveraging synergies across Al Sagar Engineering shareholders and partners platforms.
• Coordinate with sales teams from other platforms to implement account strategies and close orders.
المهارات
• BA/BS degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
• Ten (10) years of experience in sales with an Engineering, Construction or OEM Company.
• Ten (10) years of experience in the GCC, preferably the United Arab Emirates
• Speaks fluent Arabic and English
• Experienced working with and preparing annual budgets
• Knowledge of, and experience with, electrical and mechanical assembly and testing, machining, fabrication, welding, painting, procurement, materials, warehouse operations, and facility operation
• Familiarity with leading CRM systems
• Knowledge of ISO quality systems design, auditing, and maintenance
• Proven ability to develop and execute a Commercial sales strategy.
• Demonstrated ability to simply communicate complex concepts in a compelling and concise manner
• Ability to interact effectively at multiple levels in support of our customer relationships; demonstrated self-confidence, particularly with client relationships; strong relationship building skills
• Excellent communication and presentation skills; ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from clients and management.
• High level of proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and similar operating systems
