As an integral member of the IT team located in Abu Dhabi, UAE, the IT Web Developer/Generalist is on the frontline for all IT activities for REL. The REL IT Web Developer/Generalist is a member of a small IT team that manages the support of a wide range of IT services that include all aspects of IT from web development to desktop support to networking. This role is responsible for small web application development, desktop support, leading small projects, collaborating across Raytheon to report and resolve incidents and to handle new requests, and to provide technical troubleshooting support. The candidate will manage compliance to company policy and occasionally prepare local staff for upcoming audit engagements and support all audits as needed. This role will also often assume other IT duties to ensure the success of the REL mission and will require balancing multiple competing priorities to ensure business objectives are realized. The candidate must have a proven track record of success in working with and leading small project teams and have basic desktop support and web development technical skills. Some international travel may be required.
This position requires either a U.S. Person or a non-U.S. Person who is eligible to obtain any required Export Authorizations.
Knowledge/Skills Required:
5+ years of experience within the information technology industry
Broad background and previous experience in supporting IT services including devices, networking, desktop support, and IT project delivery
Strong understanding of the Windows operating system and ability to technical troubleshoot desktop issues
Training or basic web development experience (HTML)

Able to read, speak and write Standard ArabicExperience with troubleshooting and maintaining network issues relating to network services, transports, routed protocols, routing protocols, Virtual Private Networks (VPN), Wide Area Networks (WAN), Local Area Networks (LAN), Virtual Area Networks(VLAN) and Voice Over IP (VOIP)
Working knowledge of packet analyzer and remote event/data monitoring products such as Wireshark, Splunk, Identity Finder, and Symantec Endpoint Protection
Knowledge of perimeter security, data leak prevention, secure software development, and compliance frameworks
Experience working with Active Directory, DNS, PBX, Cisco Networking, SCCM, BitLocker, and Skype
Windows and Unix system administration
Demonstrated ability to work independently and achieve results with small teams
Project management and organization skills (PMP strongly encouraged)
Training in JavaScript, Java, C# or SQL
Proficiency with MS Office applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Visio
Strong written and verbal communications skills
IT industry certifications (MSCE, CCNA, ITIL)
