الوصف الوظيفي The Head of Data Science will set up, define and lead on all data science projects for our client. The role will involve managing a team that sits within the wider BI function and provides insight from a huge number of data sources on exciting projects which will have a huge impact. Client Details Michael Page Digital have exclusively partnered with a Government entity for this position. Description - Define and lead the identification and subsequent implementation of best practice methods to collect, manage, sanitise and use different data sources and data streams and make sense of them. - Manage all Data analysis and data modelling projects - Perform advanced data driven statistical modelling and develop predictive models and statistical learning models - Undertake cluster analysis and other advanced data mining practices to gain insight across a number of different data sets - Support and work with stakeholders across to the business to add value through data Profile Please ONLY apply if you meed all the below criteria: - Masters degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics or similar - Full technical proficiency in high-level programming languages (such as Python, SQL or R) - 5+ Years of practical, hands-on experience in database programming - Solid experience in visualisation software and applications - Excellent track record in managing large data sets: capturing, cleansing, aggregating, mining and analysing - Proven track record in trend analysis, multivariate statistics, sampling, bias reduction, automation and generalisation - Ability to manage stakeholder relationships and manage a team.
