الوصف الوظيفي
1- Select the appropriate paint or mix paints according to a pre-determined formula.
2- Operate equipment to clean, wash, strip, and sand, remove corrosion, fill dents or otherwise prepare fabricated steel items for application of paint and or other protective coatings.
3- Operate spray, dip or flow coating equipment or other painting or product coating equipment as required.
4- Paint small items and apply touch-ups.
May examine finished parts to ensure conformance to specifications
المهارات
Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance
Knowledge of spray painting process and standards
Should be aware of air less spray gun operation and aware of paint application (by spraying) in the metal parts and aware of painting thickness (DFT)
Ability to review weldments for any weld defects
Ability to identify spare parts and replace if damaged
