Job Description:• Directs and supervises day to day wireline operations in all Islands, Supervise and guide the Wireline operations carried out by contractor teams including;• Changing and maintaining DHSV to ensure they are working properly and effectively.• Running plugs, separation sleeves, testing tools (in completed and land rigs).• Changing and maintaining gas lift valves as island wells will be equipped with gas lift valves.• Scale and Asphaltene checks or agitation.• Conducting D/G surveys and studies (BHCIP, BHFP, BHIP, etc.).• Provides technical and logistics support for such operations and ensures their efficient and safe compliance in accordance with Production, Gas Production and Field Development Depts. The well priorities vis a vis various wireline objectives by onsite participation. • Prepare daily, weekly and monthly programs of downhole operations and maintaining proper follow ups.• Issue daily and monthly report for all Wireline operations.• Supervises contractors undertaking main wire line operations, ensuring that down hole operations are conducted at a minimum cost consistent with safety and overall efficiency and in accordance with standard wire line instructions• Conduct regular safety meetings with the contractor personnel to establish prompt awareness level.• Supervise logistical movements of contractor crew between AUH and site.• Ensure all required materials are available for any downhole operations, including specifying special tools needed.• Assure the effectiveness of all equipment’s in use and certified for offshore operations• Ensures that all activities are carried with regard to the company’s safety regulations and good housekeeping practices.• Prepares schedules for daily, weekly and monthly work programmes of crews, and supervise contractors in the quality and timeliness of their performance, taking action to ensure work programmes are actioned.• Assists in the preparation of tender bids for provision of wireline services contract and in preparation of section’s budget and operational procedures guide. • Checks the effectiveness of all equipment in use, test new equipment where it is considered this may be suitable, and ensure all necessary equipment and spare parts are requisitioned• For the Forthcoming new projects being implemented, As applicable monitor construction & commissioning activities, as applicable within other trades, and ensure that these activities are carried out in accordance with the work permits issued
المهارات
• 8 to 10 years’ experience in Wireline operations and well servicing with knowledge of downhole engineering. Experience to include at least 2 years in a supervisory position, and 3 years in offshore operations.• Or B.Sc. degree in Petroleum/Chemical/Mechanical Engineering or equivalent plus 4 to 5 years’ experience in Wireline operations.• Very Good command of English with good communication and presentation skills.• High capability in planning and working under stress, decision making.
