Your Role and Responsibilities
Good knowledge about the major building blocks of Hospital Billing (HB) i.e. CDM, fee schedules, cost center, account work queues, imports and exports, batch jobs and Payors/Plans
Detailed knowledge of major HB items i.e. fee schedules, CDM, claims , cost centers , extracts, charge router, remittances
Good knowledge about complex workflows for HB including Interim Billing, consecutive accounts, claims edits and DNB checks
Knowledgeable about account work queues and other work queues like charge review, adjustment review etc.
Strong knowledge about claims processing and remittances
HIM certification required
Experience in HIM areas i.e. Coding, ROI,DT, chart tracking, Chart correction and identity
Experience in 3M coding workflows and functionality
