Provide training and qualification activities for the Plant Engineers including coordination between line and Training Function and to design and implement Individual Technical Training Plans (ITTPs) throughout the planning, execution and post close-out phases of the Plant Engineering activities for the Barakah Nuclear Power Plant (BNPP). 1- Training and Qualification Develop Plant Engineering training materials for ITTP on specific roles (i.e. RCS System Engineer, Valve Component Engineer, etc.) with support of the Training function, to meet the need where there is not an external vendor able to provide or customize that training.
Verify that Plant Engineering procedure changes are communicated to training to adjust training material as required.
Conduct technical reviews on training qualification program to ensure its relevance and adequacy.
Participate in processing of Training Equivalencies to reduce un-necessary training at an individual level.
Develop supplementary plant engineering training materials for proficiency improvement, personnel development and specific topics not covered by the Engineering Training Curriculum to enhance personnel’s understanding of work.
Serve as qualification mentor for Plant Engineers and lead the establishment and implementation of training programs for Plant Engineering personnel to ensure personnel receive proper technical training and skills.
Develop and keep qualification matrix for Plant Engineering personnel to ensure plant engineering positions are properly aligned to relevant qualifications.
Provide assistance in the preparation of World Association of Nuclear Operators (WANO) pre-start up peer reviews to ensure accurate and efficient communication.
Provide training related monitoring and coaching to Plant Engineering personnel to help them maximize the value of their training experiences.
2- Staff Training and Qualification Prepare for the execution of training to equip necessary technical knowledge and skills.
Provide training feedback on program effectiveness with evaluation of Plant Engineer and Technician performance to enhance training and qualification program quality.
Serve as qualification mentors for Plant Engineers to facilitate a fully qualified Plant Engineering workforce.
3- Outage Support Support outages by providing specialized support to the Rapid Response Engineering team to ensure safe, reliable and continued operations; this may require shift work/off hours support. 4- Health and Safety and Security Follow all relevant company’s Health and Safety policies, processes, procedures and instructions to ensure compliance in all aspects of work as per sound management practices. Apply these policies and procedures to self and others to ensure reasonable care of the health and safety of the employee; the environment; and various individuals who may be affected by the employee’s acts or omissions at work.
Follow all relevant Security policies, processes, procedures and instructions to ensure security compliance in all aspects of work, by applying them on self, others and Corporate assets.
Ensure compliance with corporate requirements for adherence to policies, procedures and instructions related to Crisis Management and Business Continuity in order to continue mission critical activities. 5- People Management Contribute to the development of UAE National employees in a manner which supports the objectives of the corporation and its Emiratization strategy.
Contribute to knowledge dissemination/sharing in a way that assists with building internal capabilities of UAE Nationals where applicable and maximize their effective performance.
6- Excellence and Quality Management Ensure commitment to a culture of continuous improvement by eliminating waste, following operations procedures, practicing innovation, problem solving, and teamwork; complying with Quality Management System policies and procedures; providing and receiving constructive feedback, and striving to meet quality standards and stakeholder expectations.

المهارات
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering.
5 years of relevant experience.
Or equivalent as stated in the Job Description Procedure (HR-PRC-0004).
