Execute the design of baseline modifications and design basis control and maintenance. Implement effective configuration control of design output documents (i.e., specifications, calculations, drawings, test requirements, and procedures) for the Barakah Nuclear Power Plant (BNPP) as per the regulatory requirements, operating policies and principles, nuclear standards for nuclear safety, industrial safety, and environmental protection, to ensure overall Design Change objectives are achieved. 1- Design Engineering • Develop permanent design modifications, including business cases and cost benefit analyses, to plant systems, components, and structures to maintain and improve plant reliability and safety.
• Lead small or emergent modifications projects to support improved reliability and efficiency in the plants.
• Provide support in the management of functional locations and equipment master database to ensure accurate plant records for safety and maintainability.
• Provide support to the configuration management process to keep the plant in configuration control.
• Prepare or perform acceptance reviews of design changes packages and support the design change committee to keep modifications prioritized and well communicated.
• Support the unit start-up test, Power Ascension Test (PAT), to identify any possible engineering issues.
• Verify engineering documents and data to maintain accurate and useful records.
• Create plant equipment and process set point lists, keep it current and support additional analysis as required.
• Develop cost-effective design change packages, in accordance with defined standards and procedures, when required to improve plant, system or equipment performance.
• Provide technical support to operations, maintenance, engineering, and other plant or central organizations as required to solve technical issues.
• Identify and respond to issues via the corrective action and work management processes to support safe, reliable operation.
• Provide support in the World Association of Nuclear Operators (WANO) operational peer reviews to align to industrial best practices.
• Identify potential cyber-security items to the Cyber-Security Action team within l&C;Design Engineering to ensure the items’ proper evaluation.
• Perform Design seismic qualification reviews and specification development to ensure consistency with seismic program requirements.
• Perform the Final Safety Analysis Report (FSAR) change impact assessment to ensure that design changes consistent with the requirements of the FSAR.
• Execute the Structural Monitoring Program to ensure that current conditions are well understood in support of long term operation and maintenance decisions (For Civil Design Only).
• Perform technical reviews and analysis of proposed software configuration management change items to track and control versions of application programs used for BNPP operation, design and analysis (For l&C;Design Only). 2- Staff Training and Qualification • Provide feedback on training program effectiveness using operator performance evaluation to enhance the quality of the training and qualification program.
• Participate in training to equip necessary technical knowledge and skills. 3- Outage and Emergency Response Organization (ERO) Support •Support outage and/or the ERO, as assigned, to ensure safe, reliable and continued operations; this may require shift work/off hours support. 4- Health and Safety and Security • Follow all relevant company’s Health and Safety policies, processes, procedures and instructions to ensure compliance in all aspects of work as per sound management practices. Apply these policies and procedures to self and others to ensure reasonable care of the health and safety of the employee; the environment; and various individuals who may be affected by the employee’s acts or omissions at work.
• Follow all relevant Security policies, processes, procedures and instructions to ensure security compliance in all aspects of work, by applying them on self, others and Corporate assets.
• Ensure compliance with corporate requirements for adherence to policies, procedures and instructions related to Crisis Management and Business Continuity in order to continue mission critical activities. 5- People Management • Contribute to the development of UAE National employees in a manner which supports the objectives of the corporation and its Emiratization strategy.
• Contribute to knowledge dissemination/sharing in a way that assists with building internal capabilities of UAE Nationals where applicable and maximize their effective performance. 6- Excellence and Quality Management •Ensure commitment to a culture of continuous improvement by eliminating waste, following operations procedures, practicing innovation, problem solving, and teamwork; complying with Quality Management System policies and procedures; providing and receiving constructive feedback, and striving to meet quality standards and stakeholder expectations.

المهارات
• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma (or Equivalent) Degree in Engineering or related Science.
• 5 years of relevant experience, out of which:
- 1 year of Nuclear Power Plant
- Engineering Experience.
