Role Objective
To manage the site execution of the project such that it is completed within the time, cost, productivity and quality requirements of the contract while adhering to AMANA’s
company’s quality and safety practices. To assign and distribute efficiently the available resources, materials, subcontractors and equipment on the project.
STRATEGIC
Assists in the introduction of new methods of construction, equipment, and machinery to improve the construction process.
Promotes a culture of logistic planning and productivity measurement.
OPERATIONAL
Optimizes overall construction manpower, equipment, and materials allocation on site to meet budget.
Supervises the complete construction work of assigned project and ensures its completion within budgeted time, cost and productivity and quality standards.
Supervises overall attendance, productivity, and safety of construction staff and labors on site.
Assists Project Manager with preparation of Project Schedule, Manpower Schedule, Material Log, and drawing log, and any changes thereof in coordination with other internal departments for initial project planning.
Issues all site-related material requisition forms, coordinates purchase and delivery of required materials in coordination with supplier, and oversees inflow/ outflow of site store materials.
Ensures that the quality of material and installation of work is in accordance with the acceptance criteria identified for the project by QA/QC.
Conducts daily meetings with site staff to organize work scope for the day/next day to ensure efficient utilization of available resources.
Instructs site staff to ensure project is completed according to project plan, schedules, specifications, contract and budget.
Responsible for monitoring all sub-contractor works to ensure that the works are as per the job specifications, timeline and contract requirements.
Monitors and compiles productivity rates and other KPIs in periodical reports as per agreed format.
Reviews and comments on methods statements issued by QA/QC to ensure timely compliance and execution of the works.
Responsible for the safety as per AMANA HSE policies and procedures.
Conducts and participates in project meetings as required.
Corresponds with consultants and sub-contractors on site-related matters and maintains good relations with them.
Manages the overall site logistics to ensure efficient coordination and execution of works.
Manages the process of attaining necessary consultant/authority approval needed to maintain execution schedule.
PEOPLE MANAGEMENT
Assigns tasks and responsibilities to project team as per agreed plan.
Assists with recruitment and training of construction staff and manpower.
Assists in the training and development of personnel in the team.
Performs other duties as assigned by the Management.
