Architecture and applications on or incorporating innovative data analytic technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, R, and other open source and proprietary data analytics platforms and tools.
Architecture and applications on or incorporating cloud infrastructure-, platform-, and/or software as a service (particularly data analytic solutions on Microsoft Azure, Amazon AWS or other cloud platforms and service providers)
You have full fluency in traditional database principals and functions, including SQL, cardinality, levels of granularity, normalized vs de-normalized, auditing, and optimization techniques.
You have experience architecting data solutions for both real-time services and business intelligence.
Technical expertise/experience in at least one of the following areas:
Architecture and applications on or incorporating innovative data analytic technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, R, and other open source and proprietary data analytics platforms and tools.

You have a strong understanding of extensible data modelling and domain modelling.
Experience in core business transformation programs, with a focus on related changes in data analytics architecture, engineering, and business capabilities
A strong understanding of market-leading data analytic technology platforms, roles and trends
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including experience estimating technical solution builds and drafting Requests for Proposal, Statements of Work, Technical Architecture documentation, advisory deliverables, and executive-level presentations
Recent work references related to industry and data analytics architecture, technology, and design/engineering leadership expertise
Experience architecting data solutions for both real-time services and business intelligence.
Proven experience in cloud-native database technologies (SQL and NoSQL) and persistence strategies on AZURE/AWS
Hands-on programming experience, preferably in Java or in Python, and you are comfortable writing code when necessary.
Deep understanding of microservice architectures, especially on cloud infrastructure.
Operating at varying levels of abstraction from business strategy to product strategy to high-level technical design to detailed technical design to implementation.
Experience in mentoring engineers and playing a strong role in evolving engineering best practices.
Preferred Qualifications include
Bachelor’s degree in technical discipline; Master’s preferred.
8+ years of architecture experience in applications development in a complex, multi-platform distributed environment
Certifications in and/or deep expertise with market-leading, enterprise-class data analytics platforms
Expertise/experience with Agile project delivery methodology for software development.
