Applications are invited for the post of full time Research Assistant in the College of Health Sciences, Abu Dhabi University. The ideal candidate should possess a B.Sc./M.Sc. or equivalent in biochemistry, cell biology, or related field, and strong experience in cell culture, immunohistochemistry, quantitative RT-PCR, immunoprecipitation, Western blotting, and HPLC, and be highly organized.
Proven ability to carry out independent scientific research, ideally reflected in peer-reviewed publications, are desirable.
In addition, demonstrated expertise in cell transfection and expression of recombinant proteins in mammalian cell culture, and ability to handle statistical packages (SPSS, Excel, and SAS) will be advantageous. While applications from all nationalities will be accepted, only applicants with a valid Emirati ID are eligible to apply.
