Role: To ensure product quality is maintained as per applicable requirements. Monitoring and carrying out Quality control functions. To ensure projects activities are carried out in accordance with specifications and relevant standards. Primary Responsibilities, Authorities & Accountabilities: Liaising with and advising production team on matters related to Project Quality and error prevention. Implementation of ACP’s / ITP’s for assigned projects. Interpretation of Engineering drawings, Code, Standards and specifications for acceptance and rejection. Analysis of project production activity with regard to quality and quality defects and reporting the analysis to the QC Engineer. Liaising with Client / TPI for inspection activities. Coordination and control of inspectors and inspection services (including sub-contract services) for all discipline inspections within assigned projects. Assist QAQC Coordinator / Engineer in identifying the changes required to procedures to comply with applicable codes and standards. Ensure effective use of software applicable to QC function. Assist in raising and resolving NCR’s / CAR’s / PAR’s when identified in a timely manner. Ensure final acceptance of quality related documentation Provide guidance / assistance to Technicians / Document Controllers. Prepare and compile QC documents related to assigned discipline. Maintain key relationships with Managers/HODs of QAQC, and QAQC, Project & Production Team. Key Performance Indicator: Ensure compliance to HSES Policies, Plans & Procedures as applicable. Ensure all inspection activities are effectively carried out and documented as per approved procedure. Evaluation, interpretation & approval of MTC / NDT / E&I;/ Survey / Corrosion Test results as applicable. Assist QC coordinators in the project manpower planning to meet approved budget. Ensure compliance to Information Security policies and procedures as applicable. Ensure NCR, CAR & PAR is closed out in a timely manner. |
