Black & Grey HR is recruiting for the facilities management division of a leading group of companies in Ras Al Khaimah, UAE. Our client is looking to hire a Facilities Manager who can ensure highest client satisfaction, stable service delivery and develop operational efficiencies in order to save costs and improve services. The successful candidate will take responsibility for work allocation to the Hard and Soft Services Teams, keeping them within the specified details of the contract, the financial budget and working principles.
Strategy
Formulate and action efficient, cost effective and traceable maintenance methods and procedures
Produce results as per plans and financial targets through the effective management of employees and resources
Develop and implement a strict quality system through training and processes ensuring highest customer satisfaction
Management
Develop, guide, direct, motivate and manage the performance of the entire team and 3rd party service providers, in line with the organisational requirements to achieve strategic immediate and long-term objectives.
Manage clients and service providers in a professional manner in order to accomplish sustained positive image and maintain and increase the company’s reputation
Support in developing and implementing an effective documentation structure and key work processes for the portfolio
Organize regular Supervisor meetings, using them to communicate and implement new processes and discuss any issues.
Manage all daily operational activities including deployment of service provider resources and assigning responsibilities to supervisors, implementing and maintaining policies and procedures of the company.
Financial
Manage the facilities operational budget for the portfolio assigned. Report on monthly basis.
Produce justification for any capital expenditure required.
Manage the correct and in time payment of suppliers.
Business Development
Establish and maintain effective business relationships with the internal stakeholder, suppliers and subcontractors, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
Identify and maximise opportunities for efficiencies.
Assist on site visits for estimations and technical proposals.
Personal Development
Practice personal continuous improvement by attending relevant courses run by equipment suppliers and 3rd party service providers, continuously updating skills and knowledge.
Understand the standards the company is working with and undergo the companies training.
Attend appraisals in line with the company policy and procedures.
Attend courses provided by learning and development.
Operational
Develop, implement and communicate improved processes, policies and procedures on a continuous basis, always seeking greater efficiencies and higher customer satisfaction.
Carry out regular inventory audit of all fixed assets and monitor consumption of maintenance consumables.
Carry out random quality control checks.
Manage the entire procurement for the contract ensuring business continuity and achieving a potential reduction in costs.
Implement a clear and transparent reporting scheme for the contract.
Supervise the observance of all guidelines, instructions and conditions applicable to the Facilities Management Division, as laid down by U.A.E. law, and company.
RequirementsEducation/Qualification
3-5 years’ experience in a Managerial position
Managing of 100+ staff (or subcontracted staff)
Exposure to a multicultural environment
