Roles and Responsibilities
• Product registration as per existing GCC regulations like ESMA, DM, SABER
• Scheduling inspection at source with third party agency and ensuring reports are timely available for shipments
• Liasoning with labs and supplier for all the test report and resolve any queries for the lab test requirements
• Apply for COC certificate through Saber (SASO) online portal by uploading Test report
• Monitoring all the orders and get the product registered / obtain all the compliance document before the shipments land in the port
• QC check related recovery from Supplier, Random Inspections at store and WH
• Giving pre-intimation to Departments in advance about expected regulatory changes
• Aligning departments and Suppliers on quality documentation as per prevailing or new regulations
• Providing complete visibility to respective departments on their Quality performance and costs spent either at Source or at Destination territories
• Maintain adequate documentation for process and cost audit purposes
Desired Candidate Profile
• Basic knowledge of testing and requirements
• Basic knowledge of textile product
• Interacted with LABs and knowledge of how to check test report
• Must have knowledge about inspection and its process (AQL should be known)
• Knowing compliance for GCC country for Cosmetics, textile, electrical and homeware
• Experience in Beauty will be preferred
Skill set required:
• Fair command over English language and basic email etiquettes because of multi-cultural environment
• Strong in liasoning with multiple stakeholders, both Internal and external
• Basic excel knowledge is must
• Problem solving mindset, willingness to go the extra mile
