We have an opportunity for the position of Licensing and Compliance Specialist (Contract Hire, Duration: One year renewable)
Job Purpose:
• The Licensing and Compliance Specialist is responsible for coordinating and supporting the licensing and compliance processes within the energy sector. This includes ensuring all regulations, codes and standards are fully captured in the license terms and ensure the compliance of the same by the licensees.
• In addition, this role is responsible for supporting the department in ensuring that the relevant information is disseminated to the licensees.
• Good understanding of licensing and compliance within the energy sector and the UAE
• Understanding of the UAE legal system, laws, regulations and legislation applicable to the energy sector
• Moderate understanding of the energy sector in Abu Dhabi, as well as regionally and globally
• Understanding of government affairs and rules of business within Abu Dhabi
