Our client is a global crypto finance service provider, offering the the best-in-class technology with sophisticated quantitative research to offer a streamlined crypto finance experience.
Your Responsibilities
We are looking to hire a highly motivated, proactive and intellectually curious Regional Chief Operating Officer, you will help to shape and oversee the systems, processes and people necessary to underpin the business operations and deliver to the forecast revenue, expense budgets and timing.
In this role, you will work closely with senior management to ensure that internal operations run smoothly.
Act as the key person/ subject matter expert of the Middle East regional operational matters
You will design and implement strategies, plans and procedures.
You will build an effective project management team for major cross-functional projects
You will also be responsible for scaling up operational capabilities and driving business objectives, and collaborate with the various departments in the firm.
Manage the collection, documentation and analysis of project requirements and data
Monitor and analyze the operation and management processes of key business and propose optimization strategies
Document and analyze business and user requirements; prepare procedural manuals (SOP) when required
Develop new management tools and provide training
You will have a successful background in running operations unit to ensure non-IT processes are delivered to and quality
Experience in having the responsibility for mitigating risk and meeting all compliance & legal requirements
Your Qualifications
Fluent in English (Fluent in Mandarin will be a plus)
Min 8 years relevant experience with regional or international expansion within Fintech/Financial Services would be highly advantageous.
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, economics, law or equivalent work experience
Solid understanding about the MENA market
Good knowledge of project/ business management, operational procedures and systems
Entrepreneurship thinking with global aspiration
Passionate, proactive, quick learning and be able to work under pressure
Structured thinking and good problem-solving capability
Strong communication and presentation skills
