About Us
Fintech Galaxy is currently building the Open Finance platform that fuels innovation and seamless integration in financial services, drives ecosystem collaboration, and facilitates API integration between financial institutions and fintech companies. Our ambition is to integrate and aggregate 22 markets Open Banking API across the MENA region to make it easier for Fintech and Banks alike to access their customer or future customer accounts and transaction data.
About The Role
The API Integration Specialist is responsible for the integration of Third Party Provider systems with our cloud-based (AWS) Open Banking API Platform. He/she will design, develop, implement, oversee, and adapt Open Banking APIs to enable data transfers between banks, financial institutions, fintech companies, and other third parties in the production environment. The role’s focus is to:
Design and develop RESTful APIs to enable third party integrations especially for ASPSP, AISP and PISP
Design and implement integrations between software platforms, programs, and applications and ensure proper data management
Developing asynchronous messaging architectures, rule-based systems, and network architectures
Design and document the integration roadmap of third parties, provide needed assistance and address queries as needed
Conduct API testing to ensure working functionality, build testing use cases in accordance with the requirements
Programming in multiple coding languages and frameworks. Resolve errors and debug when needed
Develop procedures to navigate complex system overlaps
Formulating and reporting on integration development plans and strategies
Coordinating activities with other developers to ensure that integration projects are properly executed
Maintaining the integrity and smooth functioning of the platform’s integration architecture
Conduct a variety of Quality Assurance activities including writing and control of source code, reviewing code, configuration management, change management, program testing and release management process to ensure quality consistency across developed products
Stay updated on market trends and needs and ensure the creation of APIs to address the needs of end users
