ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop the Restaurant as a team that possesses the necessary behavioural and technical competence to be an effective support to the attainment of the Sankari Hospitality and corporate vision.
Responsible in managing effectively and efficiently all the report, requirements and request of Food Vision Department from Head Office and Restaurants/ Outlet based on the standards of the company.
To lead and be part of a team of food experts who create an exquisite dining experience.
Work with Food Vision Team to develop the strategic direction for the Department.
Manage the front of house and support Head Chef running the kitchen. Ensure high profits against high quality food.
To take charge of staff development and ensure high levels of service.
To participate in food and beverage products inventory management.
Responsible for high levels of hygiene control and health and safety.
Generate monthly scorecards, publishing and tracking of metrics on post mortem reports and survey feedbacks
Assist problem management to update known error database and track defects in production.
Ensure that customer relations are maintained and the highest level of hospitality exists at all times.
Responsible for ensuring that all statutory regulations are adhered to within the restaurant.
Conducts such function as interviewing, hiring, employee orientation, performance appraisal coaching counseling and suspension if necessary to ensure appropriate staffing and productivity
Hold monthly staff meetings to ensure effective communications with the staff on key business issues, marketing and any other relevant information that assists in maintaining moral.
Ensure all management and staff in the restaurant is trained in the tasks they are expected to perform.
Ensure new staff training plans are carried out to the required standard as laid down in the training manuals.
Ensure all cash, credit cards and other forms of payment are controlled, accounted for and kept safe.
Plan and ensure all management plan shifts to ensure customer service and product quality is at its peak.
Evaluate the restaurant performance against the standards of operations and the local market competition.
May act as strategic partner of identified/specified group or group of smaller units and provides consultative Hospitality services.
Perform other related functions that may be assigned from time to time.

EDUCATION : College Graduate/ Masters Degree
DEGREE : Hotel and Restaurant ManagementYEARS & TYPE OF EXPERIENCE : More than 10 years experience in Hospitality, with at least 5 years in a managerial capacity in area of Hospitality, Food & Beverage
