My client is an international manufacturing and industrial equipment supplier specialising in flow control and processing technologies.
Responsible for the sales and business development of products for service, overhaul and upgrade, to key F&B;Customers / End Users within the assigned territory. The Aftermarket Sales Manager will engage with new and existing Customers and will proactively develop new prospects in order to meet and exceed the sales and business development targets specified.
(ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS)
Proactively develops new business opportunities with existing and potential Customers.
Sells and promotes products, spares and services in the assigned F&B;territory, using specialist technical and product knowledge.
Analyses and interprets Customer inquiries / specifications and develops appropriate proposals / quotations in close consultation with the Sales Engineering Department.
Prepares and delivers presentations, training materials, proposals and quotations to Customers, conducts on-site meetings as necessary to finalize product design and / or to resolve commercial issues, in order to obtain a Customer order commitment.
Prepares the ‘Strategic Business Development
Prepares periodic sales and business development reports (forecast, customer visit report, etc.) showing sales volume including potential sales, monitored against the budget with action plans to address variations.Submits periodic forecasts in line with the business units outlook / target numbers.

Analyzes and interprets common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and Legal documents.
Communicates fluently in English (verbal and written), in Arabic would be an added advantage.

Responds to sales or engineering related inquiries or complaints in a professional and composed manner

Copes well with working independently and remotely from the Aftermarket Sales & Execution Manager, and successfully manages working away from home, for extended periods of time, from a variety of locations.Valid Driving License converted for use in the Middle East is essential
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Degree in an Engineering discipline (Mechanical, Manufacturing, Production) or similar field. Degree in Management or Business Administration would be an additional advantage.
5 years’ experience in a customer facing sales role, ideally 3 years of which within the dairy industry.
Experience in Food and BeverageExperience of business development, specification sales required
