Role Objective:
• To evaluate, design and implement information systems software solutions that support core organizational functions and assure their high availability.
• To plan, organize, assign and evaluate the work of staff involved in the implementation and maintenance of the company information systems in accordance with policies, procedures and operating guidelines.
• To provide technical leadership across the organization, from strategic decision making down to the project planning level.
Role & Responsibilities
• Formulates and deploys long-term strategic plans for acquiring and enabling efficient and cost effective information systems and communication and collaboration technologies.
• Directs and manages the delivery of technology project deliverables from initiation through implementation and support.
• Defines technology projects scope and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
• Develops full-scale project plans and associated communications documents as required.
• Effectively communicates project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion.
• Serves as the primary contact with vendors in the generation of RFPs, bids, contracts and agreements.
• Analyzes, plans and budgets any and all work related to the implementation, integration and upgrades of new technologies.
• Ensures that proposed and existing systems architectures are aligned with organizational goals and objectives.
• Develops and manages the MIS team people to achieve the highest standards of performance and commitment to excellent customer support.
• Ensures the continual functioning of mission critical operations systems.
• Oversees the development, design and implementation of new applications and changes to existing systems and software packages.
• Provides architectural expertise, direction and assistance to Systems Analysts, Systems Engineers, other Systems Architects and software development teams.
• Estimates the resources and participants needed to achieve project goals.
• Sets and continually manages project expectations with team members, and other stakeholders.
• Identifies and resolves issues and conflicts within the project team.
• Identifies and manages project dependencies and critical path.
• Plans, schedules and tracks project timelines, milestones and deliverables using appropriate tools.
• Proactively manages changes in project scope, identifies potential crises, and devises contingency plans.
• Coaches, mentors, motivate and supervises MIS team members, and influences them to take positive action and accountability for their assigned work.
• Conducts project post mortems and creates a recommendations report in order to identify successful and unsuccessful project elements.
• Develops best practices and tools for project execution and management.
• Holds the responsibility of the recruitment, hiring, evaluation, discipline and dismissal of staff subject to the policies of the company.

Role Requirements
• Bachelor Degree in Computer Engineering or Computer Science, management information systems.
• A Master’s degree is a plus.
• Minimum 10 years’ experience managing project deliveries across multiple applications and technologies preferred.
• Not less than 5 years of software development management experience leading a team of a minimum of 10 people.
• Solid understanding of core ERP applications.
• Knowledge of relational and non-relational databases, web technologies and Business Intelligence applications and principles.
• Experience with AWS and Cloud technologies.
• Knowledge of a broad range of modern programming languages including .NET, Angular and mobile technologies.
• Proven experience in overseeing the design and implementation of enterprise software systems from business requirements analysis through to day-to-day management.
• Strong grasp of Technical Project Management methodologies.
• Strong analytical and project management skills; including the ability to interpret both business and technical needs.
• Demonstrated success in leading projects from initiation through implementation and support.
• Strong ability to lead others (direct and indirect) – motivate, negotiate, and persuade others.
• Ability to identify and manage numerous shifting priorities, deadlines and resource issues to achieve results.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with diverse groups, managers, and subject matter experts and ability to negotiate (able to express oneself clearly and concisely both verbally and in writing) effectively to manage project delivery and project coordination of complex activities.
• Extensive experience with aligning stakeholders and communicating information that enables leaders, teams and stakeholders to have transparency on the underlying issues and potential solutions.
• Excellent knowledge of project management methodologies/process including requirements management, analysis and design, testing, implementation, deployment, change configuration, and management, etc.
• Effective leadership skills to plan, develop and implement projects, as well as, lead project, monitor, evaluate and assess progress.
• High proficiency in MS Office Suite, in particular MS Excel, MS-Project, MS-Word, MS-Visio and SharePoint.
• Strong presentation, facilitation, analysis, and problem solving skills.
• Ability to work in a fast paced, demanding and rapidly changing environment.
