Our client is a leading Project Management Company, they require a highly experienced Procurement Manager with experience working on large mixed-use developments to join their team. The candidate placed in this role will be responsible for leading, developing and managing procurement staff as well as completing performance evaluations. You will be responsible for leading the contracts and procurement department, reviewing and drafting FIDIC contracts.
Responsibilities
• Lead, develop and manage the procurement staff, including completing performance evaluations.
• Draft and review FIDIC Contracts
• Work hand-in-hand with Estimating and Operations in developing and implementing bidding strategies when assembling competitive bids and proposals.
• Enforce the company’s standards of safety, Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC), ethics and core values as set forth in the Company’s policies.
• Develop a comprehensive working knowledge and understanding of the contract documents to ensure all procurement requirements within scope are accomplished within budget.
• Follow company policy for processes such as the review chain for reports and papers
• Advise procurement business process improvements
• Consult with management in the development of new business/existing business opportunities

Requirements
• BSc. Quantity Surveying
• Minimum 10 years post graduate construction procurement experience
• From a consultancy background
• In-depth knowledge of FIDIC contracts
• Should have a thorough understanding of contractual language
• Must have strong interpersonal, leadership, risk management, and negotiation skills
