Position:
IT Manager
The Company:
A leading Services company in the Beauty industry.
The Role:
The IT Manager is responsible for performing business needs assessment and ensuring that servers, systems, internal business applications and telecommunications capabilities within the organization are aligned with operational needs and customer requirements.
Major Responsibilities:
• Assist in the establishment and implementation of tactical and strategic plans for IT and in the development and management of associated budgets
• Develop standards and procedures for technical functions
• Prepare the annual budget and business plan of the department
• Standardize technologies and platforms used in the operations across the company and ensure compliance with required standards
• Perform system and business analysis and ensure that existing technologies used by the Group are providing the optimum service to internal and external customers
• Identify and recommend to local Operations Management and Group IT, systems customizations to improve company’s operations
• Ensure security and business continuity process frameworks are followed
• Identify and recommend systems customizations to improve company’s operations
• Direct and plan appropriate training and usage of installed software and hardware
• Recruit, train, motivate and evaluate his/her team to ensure that the department has the necessary skill base and that staff are optimally motivated and enabled to maximize their potential and contribution to the company
• Plan and manage tasks’ implementations in coordination with concerned external consultants
• Recognize optimization opportunities throughout the IT function to ameliorate the efficiency and provide quality service to internal/external clients
المهارات
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent; Master’s Degree is a plus
• 8 to 10 years of experience in a similar role
• Strong knowledge of information technology theory, principles and practices
• Knowledge of data and voice communication systems, office automation systems and application development principles
• Fluent in English
