1. Develop and implement the department strategy, policies and procedures in accordance with On Time Group’s overall strategy and objectives.
2. Develop and submit yearly departmental budget for the Department to the Group Finance Manager, in line with On Time Group guidelines.
3. Liaise with On Time Group’s top management to develop strategic plans, in order to provide definitive framework to take On Time Group’s operations forward and increase overall profitability and achieve growth objectives.
4. Review, approve and monitor execution of action plans prepared by the Business Development Executive, Marketing Executive and Sales Managers.
5. Recommend training needs of subordinates and evaluate the outcomes of training courses in coordination with the concerned Human Resources personnel.
6. Conduct performance appraisals for subordinates according to scheduled plans and recommend necessary actions as per the applied practices.
7. Monitor strategic short and long term plans including activities such as industry, market and competitive analysis, market and clients’ needs assessment and opportunities
8. Coordinate with HR department to maximize training for the business development function.
9. Define policies pertaining to issues such as following up with new sales leads, approaching new sales opportunities and conducting sales presentation, after sales services, company representation, developing promotional materials, branding and many more.
10. Plan, develop, coordinate and supervise business, sales and marketing efforts for On Time Group and provide business development input as required at the corporate/project level.
11. Develop and recommend to CEO On Time Group’s business strategy, and define, refine, and implement strategic short and long term plans. This includes activities such as industry, market and competitive analysis, market and clients’ needs assessment and opportunities, PR & marketing communications.
12. Identify and prioritize key market opportunities and suggest market entering and exiting strategies. This includes developing case studies, feasibility studies and business plans for the proposed business opportunities.
13. Define marketing business plan in light with the overall strategy.
14. Prepare and execute business development action plans for specific targets and identified opportunities for improvements within On Time Group and its undergoing projects.
15. Manage the database of potential investment opportunities and maintain all necessary and useful information.
