•Establish and maintain at all times accurate stock on hand reports, whereby physical and system counts tally at all times.
•Ensure proper labeling, ailing, and storing of all products within designated stores.
•Maintain FIFO system for all stores.
•Establish minimum and maximum stock levels for all stores, in order to ensure that stocks are available at all times for the consumer market as well as for production, based on sales and production forecasts.
•Ensure proper invoicing is done using the current or future Software for any stock item issued.
•Ensure proper loading is done on all vehicles as per Picking list or LPO, and that all loaded stocks are properly accounted and invoiced for.
•Ensure that all invoices handed over to the vehicle drivers are signed by you or your designate.
•Ensure proper system is followed for all “Goods Returns”.
•Ensure reporting on daily basis the “Product shortage list” to the operations manager and production manager as per the set time
•Ensure efficient and optimum use of the current& future inventory Software for reporting of all stock movement (requisitions, issues, and stock takes).
•Update, maintain, and communicate always policies and procedures to ensure control of stock movement to and from the designated stores.
•Communicate & liaise on daily basis with Logistics team for customer requests/ samples and LPO whilst ensuring at all times customer satisfaction.
•Ensure proper scheduling for Warehouse team to ensure operation needs, and that training & development plans are in place for all warehouse team members.
•Generate monthly analytical reports for all warehouse operation as required.
•Candidate with food industry experience will be an added advantage
