MARS is a Dubai based business consultancy company providing various business and professional services to UAE businesses including VAT consultancy, Accounting services, Audit management, Internal audit, Financial management, Business management consultancy etc. MARS is led by a team of qualified Chartered Accountants with over 20 years experience in financial consultancy in the Middle East region.
MARS is looking for an experienced Accounting Executive with following job responsibilities:
· Produce error-free accounting reports and present results.
· Provides financial information to management by researching and analyzing accounting data; preparing reports including cash flows.
· Perform day to day accounting activities including General ledger maintenance and recording of business transactions
· Prepare financial statements and produce budget according to schedule.
· Assist with tax audits and tax returns.
· Liaise with external auditors and assist in preparation of audit schedules.
· Recommends financial actions by analyzing accounting options.
· Reconciles financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information.
· Support month-end and year-end close process
· Proactively identify areas for business improvement or insights. Carry out analysis and make recommendations on potential improvements.
· Proficient in MS Office (especially Excel) and accounting software
· Has strong verbal and written communication skills, to effectively present to peers and management.
المهارات
• Bachelor Degree is required and Professional Accounting qualification (ACCA or CA) is highly desirable. Candidates with Part qualification can also apply.
• At least 3-4 years experience working as Accountant / Senior Accountant in reputable company
• Working experience in UAE Accountancy and Audit company will be preferred
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Access, Powerpoint and Outlook)
• Good knowledge of accounting principles and practices including IFRS
• Good knowledge of accounting software – Tally, QuickBooks, Oracle, SAP
• English proficiency
