- Helping in the preparation and design of all food and drinks menus
- Ensures all standardized recipes are utilized and followed.
- Helping head chef to develop new dishes and menus
- Producing high quality plates both design and taste wise
- Maintain quality and consistency levels of production and presentation, as directed.
- Ensuring that the kitchen operates in a timely way that meets our quality standards
-Monitoring portion and waste control to maintain profit margins. Ensures waste is minimized through adhering to established par level, production, and waste standards.
- Fill in for the Executive Chef in planning and directing food preparation when necessary
- Resourcefully solve any issues that arise and seize control of any problematic situation
- Order supplies to stock inventory appropriately
- Ensuring you and your team have high standards of food hygiene and follow the rules of health and safety
- Ensures productivity through organization, continued training and learning.
- Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers
المهارات
- Great language and communication skills in English
- Two to Three years’ F&B;experience in a hotel or any 5 star restaurant back ground.; preferably in Dubai
