Gallega Global Logistics is the Third-Party Logistics service provider in UAE. Its Logistics services include Contract Logistics, Transportation and Freight Forwarding for various industries with focus on Automotive & Retail Supply Chain.
Summary:
Analyze and enhance supply chain processes by using various quantitative methods, collecting relevant data, including: supplier performance, capacity, spend, forecast, inventory, distribution data, procurement, and information on material health and warehouse, to improve Supply Chain Operations.
The role is accountable for creating and managing logistical processes that help Gallega achieve its goal of ‘Operational Excellence’ by smoothly meeting customer and company requirements. The role will collaborate with all Gallega divisions, Gallega customers, and Gallega vendors, when appropriate, to determine business needs for new or enhanced systems.

The Senior Supply Chain Analyst will have prime accountability for the development and execution of the logistics and distribution strategy to support the strategic growth and profitability of the company. The role is also responsible for the management of logistical cost, carrier performance, improvement of order fill and efficiency metrics.
The ability to think and operate strategically, display creativity and innovation, influence effectively across functional boundaries and focus on the needs of the customer and the business are critical to success in the role.
Principal Accountabilities:
• Create processes and methods to gather supply chain data
• Analyze data to identify problematic areas and suggest improvements
• Plan and implement supply chain optimization projects (e.g. warehouse-slotting, route planning)
• Develop requirements and standards (e.g. packaging, procurement, delivery)
• Oversee inventory procedures
• Discover the most cost-effective shipping modes and schedules
• Evaluate vendor operations (e.g. freight forwarders) according to quality standards
• Help foster trusting relationships with business partners
• Collaborate with IT professionals to implement effective systems
• Track KPIs and report on supply chain’s performance
المهارات
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
• Bachelor’s Degree required.
• Degree in Business or equivalent with 10+ years of experience in supply chain and Retail, preferably with an Automotive Manufacturer / distributor company.
• 1-3 years Supply Chain Management experience in the fast-moving consumer goods or food industry
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:
• Experience with ERP systems, Business Intelligence applications and MS Office products, preferably SAP ERP/BI, Hyperion, Oracle and WMS. Strong skill set in Excel is a must.
• Understanding global forecasts in a medium/high volume, high mix Trading & manufacturing environment.
• Demonstrate concern for precision and thoroughness.
• Understanding Regulatory requirements within the Logistics & Supply Chain Industry.
• Ability to manage multiple objectives and priorities concurrently.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to work as a team member in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong and effective verbal and written communication skills. Capable of facilitating discussion.
• Effectively work autonomously with minimal management direction.
• Experience developing and implementing process improvement initiatives.
• Strong customer orientation. A positive and proactive approach. Attentive to the needs of customers.

IT Competencies:
Systems/Applications
• Manage applications resolution to maintain effective dashboards (SAP, Oracle, WMS etc).
• Engage IT support for future business enhancements within our applications (identify areas of improvement, functional spec, script testing, project management).
• Support, resolve and troubleshoot ERP application issues.
