Our Dubai based Retail/E-Commerce client is looking for an experienced Business Analyst/Sales Controller to drive and ensure comprehensive forecasts for optimal steering of the business-relevant parameters. They will be responsible for controlling them at a sales, customer and channel level. The successful candidate will be an easy-going team player who will be interacting with many people within the organisation (including top management) so needs to be assertive and impartial, yet able to maintain positive relationships with all people involved. You will also be able to handle pressure, be a fast learner and quick thinker who can problem solve and think outside the box. While having experience in the Retail/E-commerce industry would be an added advantage a Business degree or commercial training and at least three years of work experience in a similar position is required.
Responsibilities:
• Drawing up long-, medium- and short-term forecasts (annual plans through daily and hourly plans) with regard to sales, merchandise, customer and channel goals
• Drawing up standard reports to be submitted to management in a clear way with personal insight
• Quantitative and qualitative evaluation and validation of forecasts taking consideration of actual/plan variance analyses, growth trends and strategic corporate goals
• Supplying top management with the Business Performance (Management Summary) with efficient data presentation in PowerPoint templates
• Steering and operative implementation of the forecast & controlling processes
• Quality assurance and development of the forecast & controlling tools
• Ad hoc reporting answering to the needs of the business
المهارات
Criteria:
• Experience in the Retail/Ecommerce industry would be an added advantage
• Business degree or commercial training
• At least 3 years of work experience in a comparable position
• Excellent understanding of numbers and affinity for complex data as well as very good analytical skills
• Structured, accurate and results-oriented working methods as well as communicative and confident demeanor
• Very good knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint
• Easy-going and a team player, this person is going to interact with many people within the organization (including top management) so needs to be assertive and impartial, yet able to maintain positive relationships with all people involved
• Patient and respectful with the ability to deal with stressful situations and always treat everyone else with respect
• Problem solving, there are good systems in place but there are occasions there is a need to find alternative ways to arrive to the solution
• Fast learning, adaptable and high commitment to work - This is a very dynamic company, continuously on the move with little time to relax, therefore they are looking for someone need someone who can learn quickly and work well under pressure.
• Great communication and presentation skills
• Must currently reside in the UAE
