Automotive trainer required to deliver Service Adviser and Service Department Management training to English and French speaking markets.
Required:• Industry expertise - at least 3 years’ experience working in an automotive dealer/distributor Service Department as a Service Trainer and/or Service Manager• Fluent in both English and French• Training experience – experience delivering training, with an understanding of how to motivate and engage participants, and the ability to debrief group work and ensure learning outcomes are achieved• Accomplished speaker, with excellent communication and presentation skills• Able to follow training briefs and deliver the prescribed training in accordance with directions and standards• Very good understanding of Customer experience as it relates to the Service Department, permission based selling techniques, value-added explanations of service work, how to convey technical information to Customers, up-selling techniques, improving productivity and efficiency• Preparing training reports and providing feedback to management• Support the training department in achieving training KPIs by ensuring all required reports are provided when requested and on time• Support the training department in ensuring the quality of translated training material by reviewing French translations, providing feedback and making corrections when required• Updating and preparing training material when requested• Ability to travel whenever required, generally 2 weeks every month over the course of a year• Highly motivated, energetic, and passionate about your work• Adaptable and able to manage competing priorities• Highly organized with excellent time management skills and project management capabilities• Ethical, with a high level of personal integrity and accountability
