الوصف الوظيفي The Service Engineer will be responsible for the timely service and repair of KTI products and third- party industrial refrigeration systems worldwide, ensuring cost effectiveness commensurate with quality. The Service Engineer will maintain a high level of communication and liaison with the service department. Frequent international travels form a mandatory part of the job. RELATIONSHIPS: Reports to: Service Manager Subordinate staff: Technicians and Helpers Internal contacts: Technical Department, Spare Part and Service Sales MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES: Trouble shoots and assesses industrial refrigeration plant conditions Interprets maintenance manuals, schematics, and wiring diagrams Develops and maintains positive customer relationships and the necessary documentation of the customer’s equipment and systems status Documents completed work timely, clear and concise in service reports Supports and promotes the service sales activities where necessary and requested Ensures compliance with the KTI safety standards and adheres to all international applicable industry standards and requirements Supports and trains customers on the KTI system operation at site or remotely Installs and troubleshoots electrical systems, motors and VFDs Advises management regarding customer satisfaction, product performance, and suggestions for product improvements Performs other related duties and assignments as required المهارات Degree in Refrigeration, Mechanical Engineering or alike Minimum 5 years’ experience in refrigeration (preferably within the GCC) Age between 25 – 40 Highly proficient in spoken and written English PERFORMANCE COMPETENCIES AND CRITERIA: Core Performance Competencies for all employees of KTI: Customer awareness – exemplifying excellent customer service skills Interpersonal relations – recognizing the “people” aspect of issues and the need for positive relationships produced through proper interaction with others Organizing/planning ability – problem solving and time management skills In addition, to the core competencies identified as being required by all KTI staff, the following competencies form also an integral part of the position: Analytical skills – collecting, comparing and relating data from different sources, identifying issues and anticipating problems Integrity – Service Engineer can be trusted to perform duties in a proper and honest manner Computer skills – using appropriate programs like Microsoft office applications and e-mails.
