We are a small, busy and flexible European-managed engineering company based in Dubai and serving telecommunications’ infrastructure needs throughout the GCC, Europe and worldwide. Our core business includes lattice steel masts & towers, and broadcast systems.
Role Responsibilities
The successful applicant will be required to -
• Guide, manage and develop a small CAD team (development of own & others’ designs into full draughting packages, and issue for manufacture, construction etc).
• Guide, manage and develop a Graduate Structural Engineer (guidance & development support will also be provided by the Structures Manager).
• Management of day to day engineering tasks & projects to deliver on schedule and within budget.
Role Requirements
The applicant must demonstrate -
• A proven track record of employment in a senior engineering position (including at least 5 years in an engineering management role).
• Strong professional engineering management skills and knowledge relevant to our business.
• An appreciation of lattice steel & tensile systems’ manufacture & behaviour. A basic appreciation of RF engineering principles also would be a further advantage.
• Ability to produce simple structural steelwork designs for the CAD team. Ability to produce simple civils’ designs also would be a further advantage.
• A strong understanding of Middle-Eastern and European markets.
• A flexible and adaptive approach.
• Self-motivation and the ability to motivate team members.
• Potential to complement the business.
