The purpose of the Payroll Officer role is to provide administrative support to the payroll function in managing the timely input of payroll entries, its validation in line with policies and procedure, ensure necessary reconciliation and timely and accurately processing of employee payroll, end of services and handle payroll related matters.
The main responsibilities of this role will include:
- On time input all payroll related entries like, educational allowance, travel claim reimbursements, loans or salary advances, overtime entries, etc. received through employee self-service or direct entries on to SAP, as applicable, by validating them in line with policy guidelines;
- Ensure proper validation of all supporting documents or necessary approvals in line with the DOA for applicable inputs prior to entering of any such inputs on to SAP Payroll;
- Responsible for reconciling all payroll entries in coordination with the line manager and all relevant departments/ parities;
- Responsible for proper record keeping, document control and indexing of all payroll related documents into monthly payroll files and/or employee files as applicable, for the easy retrieval of documents as and when required;
- Issuance of all salary and compensation related certificates/letters requested by the employees, including experience letters at the end of service of an employee, as applicable, ensuring its accuracy and compliance, within the agreed lead-time;
- Prepare accurate and on-time end of service of departing employees, ensuring the exit checklist and applicable clearance and it’s compliance and obtain necessary approvals and employee sign off on required documents;
- Produce all payroll related reports and analysis to the line manager/senior management as per the agreed timeline;
- Act as point of contact for payroll relate queries, ensuring the highest level of efficiency and courtesy in line with Expo 2020 Values while solving all matters.
المهارات
3+ years’ experience managing the payroll of a large organization, as well as:
- A Bachelor’s degree;
- Hands-on experience in payroll input and processing, including familiarization with UAE labour law and UAE/GCC Pensions regulations;
- Well versed in MS Office and SAP HR systems and should be an expert in MS-Excel;
- Strong Analytical skills and attention to details, process and result oriented;
- Proactive and positive attitude;
- Diploma/Certification in HR/ Compensation/Reward Management will be an advantage;
- Accounting background or relevant qualification preferred.
