The role of the Manager is to curate content across dedicated areas of the public realm to support a cohesive and engaging visitor experience.
Main responsibilities for this role include:
- Generate public realm content and develop the experience narrative by integrating exhibition content from different owners into a coherent story;
- Play a significant role in the formulation of the overall content and creative direction of the public realm showcases;
- Document installations and showcases that fall under different thematic and content areas;
- Conduct research and liaise with different content owners to ensure all relevant thematic content is properly captured;
- Recommend exhibition content;
- Develop the concept narrative that links components of the experience together and contribute to Expo publications in the relevant areas of responsibility;
- Liaising with the relevant delivery team (site integration, overlay and operation) to ensure that the content is duly represented and taken into account;
المهارات
6+ years of experience in the design and experience sector as well as:
- A Bachelor’s Degree holder in a related field;
- Wide knowledge of and enthusiasm about Expo’s thematic areas is essential;
- Demonstrated understanding of the content development value chain and a passion for research and content analysis;
- Strong understanding of the Expo 2020 themes, while having a generalist knowledge of culture and be able to move between a wide range of topics;
- Capable of working in a highly collaborative environment and be able to articulate complex ideas and proposals;
- Excellent written and spoken communication skills;
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a proven ability to work well with colleagues and external stakeholders;
- Ability to work independently with strong attention to detail
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment with a dynamic range of people
- Demonstrated ability to be resilient to change in evolving circumstances;
- Determination and flexibility;
