The role of the Senior Manager – Asset Management is to be in charge of the specific operating assets and contracts to ensure their performance is in accordance with requirements, standards, timelines, and revenue and cost constraints to achieve the objectives expected by Expo2020. To assist and advise Expo2020 development during the project phase, and to be the point of contact with any appointed operator during the handover phases. To oversee all activities of the appointed operators and ensure they are adhering to all contractual responsibilities both during the event stage and the handing of the asset back to the owner.
The main responsibilities of this role will include:
- Contribute to the development and implementation of the Operations department strategy by cascading it to action plans to ensure alignment to Expo2020 overall strategy;
- Ensure that all reporting staff are tasked with KPI’s in line with the role and job description. These should be derived from overall Expo2020 and Operational goals and be in line with the values and pillars of Expo2020;
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the team providing guidance in the related area, encouraging teamwork and facilitating related professional work processes in order to achieve high performance standards;
- Ensure all decision making is done in line with company procedure, policy and in an ethical manner;
- Lead teams, contractors and tenants via mentoring, development and monitoring for all personnel, encouraging teamwork and facilitating related professional work processes in order to achieve high performance standards;
- Provide the liaison point between Expo2020 and the operator and delivery/contract teams during the design, construction and delivery phases. Actively manage operator’s expectations to fit in line with agreed build and operating specifications, eliminating all variations due to operator changes;
- Ensure all projects are delivered on time and under budget, regardless of highlighted deviations from budget. Ensure you are seen as an “owner’s representative” on all key decisions.
المهارات
8+ years in assets management within in the UAE.
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Management or any equivalent specialization;
- Strong third party relationship management skills;
- Have a strong understanding of the key drivers within the project;
- Logistics and destination management skills.
